Gayathri has been learning Classical Indian Dance since she was 4 years. She has been performing since she was five years and is adept at 3 Indian classical dance forms as well as Bollywood dance, Modern and hiphop. She has been learning kathak for the past 10 years and performs at a professional level at all the US based Indian kathak dance festivals. She has spend years practicing and perfecting various forms of dance and has been constantly performing professionally at various stages both nationally and internationally.

Ms. Govind is a young upcoming Indian classical dance artist who performs not only classical Indian dance but also western forms and combines both of the them to not only to inspire her own mind to create different and complex creations combining both genre of dance but she also inspires dancers to explore different cultures and other aspects of dance as a subject. She has performed widely in the US and around the world. Her performance in Singapore was received well and she performed to a standing ovation. Her interest and virtuosity in modern dance and contemporary has led her to mix both Indian Classical arts with Modern to creates outstanding choreographies.
